AMPeD Music Conference invites musically minded and gifted students from all Victorian secondary schools to meet, discover and create together during a one-day conference on our College grounds.
Students are encouraged to build their own program based on their passions and ambitions, choosing from dozens of sessions, panels and workshops with topics ranging from songwriting to DJing, composing, auditioning, and building a musical career. The day also includes opportunities to perform to a crowd on our busking stage in the courtyard.
Leveraging our impressive list of music and performing arts alumni, AMPeD creates valuable opportunities for creative collaboration among students, as well as introducing participants to industry connections and successful inspirations that foster flourishing musical careers.
Previous speakers have included three-time ARIA Award nominee Lior, Platinum album indie songwriter Lisa Mitchell, and Grammy-nominated and Annie-winning orchestrator Tim Davies.
