AMPED Music Conference

In 2022 ELTHAM College held its inaugural AMPeD music conference for secondary school students

The conference was open to all Victorian secondary-school aged children, where participants designed their own day of workshops, masterclasses and specialist sessions from a variety of sessions on offer. At the core of the conference is the idea of exposing participants to varying opportunities to perform, develop and uncover areas of music that may appeal to them. We wanted to emulate the conference experience afforded to adults and/or university students, where participants can select areas of interest or areas of development and network with other students and professionals from the music industry.

AMPED is here to guide and inspire the next generation of music lovers, makers and enthusiasts and will be back on the 9 September in 2023.

ELTHAM has a vibrant music and performing arts program from ELC 3 through to VCE and VET subjects, and provides a variety of co-curricular offerings for our creative students. We have an impressive list of music and performing arts alumni and a strong focus on providing real life experiences for our students. AMPED is another example of a ‘world ready’ program that encourages students to follow their passions and expand their horizons.
