We hope you have been enjoying some of the benefits of the easing of restrictions
during this week. While we must continue with a cautious approach, there is an
increased level of optimism in the air as we gear up for the gradual return of students to
Adhering to specific guidelines to keep our community safe will continue to be extremely
important in the coming weeks and months. We will be sharing detailed information
regarding the measures we will be implementing, and how you can assist us, as soon as
possible. Resources, videos and informative fact sheets will also be provided to support
our community through this upcoming transition.
In the meantime we can confirm that Monday 25 May will be a Staff Day (Prep – Year
12) with no formal classes being conducted (remotely or on-site). This will allow our
teaching staff to continue their preparations for a gradual return to school, with the first
day back on campus for Prep, Year 1, Year 2, Year 11 and Year 12 occurring on Tuesday
26 May. Arrangements for all other year levels remain the same, with further updates to
be communicated next week, particularly in relation to Year 10 students undertaking
Unit 1/2 VCE subjects.
Families with children in the Early Learning Centre (ELC) are able to access their usual
program on the days they are currently enrolled. Please inform Kathryn Barclay
(email@example.com) if your child will be returning to the ELC next week.
Working together I am confident we can achieve a calm, considered and healthy
transition back to full on-site learning.
