New Principal for ELTHAM College in 2024

We are delighted to announce that Richard Lisle has commenced as Principal of ELTHAM College.

Richard was previously Deputy Principal at St Peter’s Girls School in Adelaide.

Richard brings to ELTHAM his considerable experience in leadership and in building strong school communities. His collaborative approach and success in implementing new programmes and procedures into the school curriculum, including wellbeing and gifted and talented programs, will be highly valued at ELTHAM. 

Biography: Richard Lisle

Richard brings 16 years' senior educational leadership experience gained across multiple schools, in addition to experience as a Head of Faculty.

Originally commencing his career in the UK, Richard joined the Australian education environment in 2007. At St Peter’s Girls’ School, Richard has responsibility for the day-to-day school operations, led the Co-Curricular branch of the Strategic Plan and developed a whole school Student Leadership Program, ‘Leadership Matters’. Richard also worked with the Principal and Governing Body on the design and delivery of a major refurbishment of the school campus.
