House Music Competition 2025
The House Music Competition is one of ELTHAM’s most prestigious annual events and has become one of the most exciting and collaborative functions on the College calendar, presented in partnership with Arts Centre Melbourne.
House Music is now in its 35th year and the event has grown to be an annual showcase celebrating the spectacular and diverse musical and theatrical talents of each House (Bell, Evelyn, Nillumbik and Ross). The competition program promotes collaborative work across multiple age groups, which culminates in an evening performance.
This experience provides students from Year 5 through to Year 12 with the opportunity to further enhance and develop their performing arts skills and to express themselves artistically. Teamwork and leadership are at the heart of the program with the students taking responsibility for all areas of the performance with the support and guidance of ELTHAM College staff.
