The English Pathways subject is for international students who require additional English language development. Studied alongside their mainstream English subject, this interactive course is designed to improve communication and study skills. The focus will lie on communicative English that students will rely on to negotiate modern Australia while studying aspects of Australian culture and life. Essay structure, vocabulary extension and consolidation and refining of grammatical skills are prioritised. English language texts including novels, newspapers, textbooks, films, television shows, websites and language learning software are key resources for this subject.

The Humanities Pathways course assists students in developing an understanding of Australian society by examining our geography, economy, history and political system. The course will allow students to build their research and investigative skills, interpret data and respond to events that impact and shape the world around them.
