ELTHAM College, much like the suburb we are named after, is known for its art.

ELTHAM offers a broad range of art subjects and facilities, from design and digital, through to performance and media. Subjects include: Studio Arts, Visual Communication and Design, Interactive Multi-Media, Film and Media and Certificates II, III and IV.

Our Clarke Visual Arts Centre is an open collaborative space where young people can work on their portfolios in an environment conducive to mutual respect and confidence.

Digital Media is also practiced across the school from Junior to Senior levels. ELTHAM sees the great importance digital media has for upon our young people and their future, and this is one of our way’s to help them become world-ready.

Performance also forms a part of our Arts offering, with our Senior theatre and drama groups producing two public performances each year as part of their curriculum. Junior School present one performance every second year, whilst our Year 7/8 students engage in performances throughout the year, with particular focus upon the works of Shakespeare.
