ELTHAM College Alumni

ELTHAM College Alumni Logo_Border-01

The ELTHAM College Alumni Association was founded as the ExECS (Ex-ELTHAM College Students and Staff) in 1983 by founding Principal, Des Davey. Our committee renamed the association in 2017 as they believe our new name is simpler and more inclusive. The tree rings in the new logo reference the College leaves and represent our continually growing community.

With close to 15 thousand members (inclusive of former students, parents and staff) all over the world, the purpose of the association has always been to support and maintain connections. There are numerous ways to stay in touch with classmates and the College; we seek to provide a breadth of opportunities to do so, be it via sport, social activities or business. We encourage you to stay connected via our Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, and to contact us directly if you wish to be involved in our sporting associations (Old Eltham Collegians Football Club and Research Eltham Collegians Cricket Club) or business activities.

Don’t forget to email us at alumni@elthamcollege.vic.edu.au if you change your phone number, email address, house address or name. We also love being kept in the loop, so please get in contact if you have recently welcomed a new baby, celebrated a wedding, lost a loved one, or achieved something monumental.

We’re always welcome to new committee members, if you’re interested in the joining the ELTHAM College Alumni committee please email our Coordinator at alumni@elthamcollege.vic.edu.au for more information.

We look forward growing our association with you.

Research Eltham Collegians Cricket Club

Research Eltham Collegians Cricket Club is affiliated with the ELTHAM College Alumni Association and utilises the two beautiful College cricket ovals and Pavilion. We also use the nearby Research Park.

The Club competes in the Diamond Valley Cricket Association (DVCA), with Seniors playing one day, and two day competitions, the Northern Region T20, and Veterans. We have Junior teams for ages 9 – 18 that play Friday evenings, and younger children from ages 5 – 8 can begin cricket in the MILO in2Cricket program and T20Blast program weekend mornings.

Our club is a leader in girls’ cricket, with several girls’ teams competing in the local DVCA Wednesday night competition. We also have the first all-abilities cricket team for teens and adults with intellectual disability in the region that competes in the Melbourne All Abilities Cricket Association (MAACA) on Sundays.

Teams train and play at the College and Research Park afterschool and on weekends. The Club is open to students, parents, alumni and local community members, and welcomes new members of all ages.

Pre-season training and registration commences in August with the playing season October – March.
